Enrichment Programs

The children will board a hot air balloon and travel the world.  They will experience the joy of music and explore a new language all within the walls of Hobbitts Preschool.  A greater appreciation for other people will teach valuable life lessons.  It offers hope that they will learn to respect the differences among themselves.

 
Passport 2 Discovery  

• Passport 2 Discovery is an enrichment program designed for the older four-year-old or kindergarten age child. Children will experience countries around the world through art, music, movement, literature, geography, language, cooking, and creative play.  They will navigate the world exploring the history and culture of different groups of people.  Children must be 5 by April 1st of 2012 to enter the Passport 2 Discovery class.

Kindermusik

• Kindermusik brings a variety of musical and sensory experiences to every child who participates.  Each class includes opportunities for individual playing, singing, and listening while learning at his/her own pace.  This program is available to the Pre-K and three and four-year-old classes.

Spanish

• “The Language Lodge” is a program designed to teach Spanish to young children.  Children learn basic Spanish naturally through games, plays, songs, and other fun activities that provide the setting of putting word with action together.  This program is available to the Pre-K and three and four-year-old classes.

Lunch Bunch

• Children have the opportunity to stay for an additional hour of lunch and play with friends.
