During the year children will gain the necessary knowledge and skills needed to advance to the kindergarten level. Name, color, and shape recognition will be reinforced. There will be a greater focus on numbers and number concepts. Letter recognition, sounds, and formation will be taught through creative and fun methods. Scientific exploration, music, movement, and art and crafts will continue to be a very important part of the 4-year-old classroom.
