Hobbitts offers classes for toddlers through the pre-kindergarten age. With a variety of days and times, parents have many options to choose from. The schedule allows for an excellent balance between free play and more structured group activities. Children enjoy a special time away from home feeling safe, happy, and loved. This offers a great learning environment for the children of Hobbitts Preschool.
The Parent/Toddler class was introduced to ease the transition from home to school for two-year-olds and young three-year olds. Parents will receive guidance and information concerning their toddler. Children and parents attend this class together and grow together as they explore the materials and experiences of the preschool classroom.
Children who are three by September 30th and who are potty trained may attend a 3 year-old program. For some children this may be their first experience leaving their parent. The staff will welcome the child with open arms and introduce them to a loving, caring environment.
The Pre-K class is designed for the mature 4-year-old child and those of kindergarten age who may not be ready for the structured environment that formal schooling requires. Giving the children additional opportunities to become reading ready will enhance the learning experiences provided in the 4-year-old program.
